Before booking - aug 2026, I noticed some older Google reviews mentioning hygiene issues (bed bugs). I can confidently say we encountered absolutely nothing of the sort. The hotel has been recently renovated and is impeccably clean throughout. The rooms are extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated — you can tell real care went into the design. The location is another big plus: just a short walk from Ghent's historic city center, so everything is easily reachable on foot. We had a lovely stay and would happily return. Highly recommended.
