Reviews
We stayed at this hotel during what was probably one of the busiest weeks Brussels has seen in a while. The BTS concert, FIFA matches, and a local celebration all took place at the same time, so the city was incredibly lively and full of people. Despite that, the hotel's location couldn't have been better. Everything was within walking distance—the Grand Place, restaurants, shops, public transport, and all the main attractions. It was the perfect base for exploring Brussels. Because we were staying right in the city center, it was naturally quite lively outside, and people were celebrating until around 4 a.m. That's simply part of staying in the heart of a capital city, especially during major events, so I don't think it's something to complain about. Personally, I actually enjoyed seeing so many happy people around. What impressed me even more was how much the hotel staff genuinely cared about their guests. They regularly checked that everything was okay and were always kind, friendly, and helpful. The cleanliness was exceptional, the housekeeping was excellent, and the overall service truly deserves five stars. Of course, as this is a beautiful historic building, there are a few characteristics that come with it: the bathroom is quite compact, and you can occasionally hear neighbors or some street noise. For us, these were very minor points compared to everything else the hotel offers. I also know that during the BTS concert many travelers experienced hotel cancellations across the city. I made several changes to my reservation before arriving, and this hotel handled everything perfectly. They stayed in touch, were professional throughout, and never caused me a single problem. This hotel has definitely earned a place on my list, and I will absolutely stay here again the next time I visit Brussels. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable!
I see a variety of reviews for this hotel here, but my experience was fine. For me, the most important thing was a comfortable bed so I could get a good night’s sleep after traveling and get ready for the trip home. The only downside was that we couldn’t really unpack our suitcases because there wasn’t enough space to store clothes for two people ;)) The upside is that it’s a hotel in the city center, so you can’t get lost—you can already see historic buildings as soon as you step outside ;)) But I’d give it 5 out of 5 stars.
Location was perfect!!! And the room has a balcony with a fantastic view. If ill go back to brussels I will definitely stay here. And really affordable!! Thank you! We really had a great stay!
We were on the 5th floor. Right when we entered the elevator we were welcomed by a very strange smell. Room was just okay. Molds on the walls, floor was uneven. I don‘t even know why. Bathroom should be renovated asap, maybe just renovate the whole room. Outside of the room were carpet floors which also had smelly stains on it. Plus points goes to the nice staff and location. I like that the metro was just a few minutes away and a lot of restaurants are nearby. But pls do something about the smell, stains and mold! Can‘t recommend that hotel tho!
