Friendly staff, welcoming and eager to answer any question or give recommendations. I liked the shared kitchen facility and its equipment. Location is amazing, you have beautiful view from the groundfloor. Totally worth it!
The staff are welcoming and very helpful. The location is epic! The bunkers are a bit old-fashioned, very simple and no curtains. No en-suite toilets, you have to go all the way down the aisle. Good value for money
Very clean and professional. Respectful and open. Second floor 8 bed dorm room I was in the was co-Ed. Bathrooms were also. Plenty of showers and toilets and sinks. Beds all have outlets right at them with usb charger ports. Very nice common area and check in / out process. Nice little bar with a few beers. Highly recommend.
Highly recommend this hostel, I had to book here last minute and found the process really easy. I stayed in a 12 person mixed dorm but over the two nights only had three others in the room. The room has lockers which you need a padlock for. Bed was comfortable along with the pillow and cover and each bunk has a USB & USB C wall plug along with normal plug and bedside light. I stayed in room 4 and had a view of the river. The only downside to this was the noise on the weekend, but that determines if a window is open. Bathroom facilities was great and enough toilets for each floor. Security is great with how you access the rooms, but did find that room doors don’t self close so if someone doesn’t shut the door behind them it won’t lock. I found this out when coming back. Thankfully all was ok. Highly recommend staying here.
It is very well located and maintained. Clean, comfortable and has everything you would need. Staff are nice and helpful. They have a night walking tour that I think is a must try. I had so much fun learning about the darker history of Ghent. I would also give the views from this hostel 8/5 stars if that was possible. It really brought the entire stay and experience together.
