Numa Lief is very conveniently situated a few minutes from a Brussels Tram/Metro station that is only two-stops from the Gare Midi/Zuid, and within about 10-15 minutes’ walk from the central Grande Place. It is situated in a classical building in an attractive square, and the rooms are comfortable and fairly spacious, though lacking the small kitchen area that is often a valued feature of Numa apartments. The building clearly at one time had a breakfast room and bar area on the ground floor, with windows looking onto the square, but this was closed off and not in use, which is a pity. My room was showing some signs of age, with a static DAB radio set that did not work, a fridge that had power but did not get cold, and a hot water interruption for a day and a half, which was inconvenient, though a small percentage refund was given in recompense for this. I enjoyed a pleasant stay here, nonetheless.

I recently stayed at Numa Lief, and overall, I had a fantastic experience! The self-service check-in process was incredibly smooth and convenient, making the arrival hassle-free. The hotel really prioritizes security, which gave me peace of mind throughout my stay. The cleanliness was top-notch, everything was spotless, and it was clear that they take great care in maintaining the property. One of the highlights was definitely the bed – without a doubt, the comfiest bed I've ever slept in! It made it hard to get up in the morning. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it super easy to explore. Plus, they offer luggage storage, which was really helpful when I arrived early and wanted to start sightseeing. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that the walls are a bit thin – I could hear people in the rooms next door pretty clearly, which was a bit uncomfortable at times (ahem, you know what I mean ). But aside from that, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Definitely recommend Numa Lief for anyone looking for a central, secure, and comfortable place to stay!
