interesting experience. it was kinda a hassle getting from the airport to the hotel even though it’s an ‘airport hotel’. it’s next to a cornfield in the middle of nowhere so the surroundings are quiet and nice. when we arrived to the hotel we weren’t welcomed at all. in fact, the staff didn’t even look at us. when we went up to the receiptionist to check in, the ‘gentleman’ was so indifferent and kept answering “i don’t know” to my questions. they also wanted to take my money twice, and when he said “how would you like to pay?” i said “pay?!” because i was suprised he asked me to pay even though it was already paid, so the gentleman said “sometimes you have to pay” in a rude tone. it also took very long to check in for no reason at all, it literally seemed like the dude just started doing random stuff on his computer while he was supposed to check us in. this was literally our first 20 minutes there and we already felt kinda off. but THIS ISN’T ALL! we then went to the bts concert, and we only got to the hotel at night, and when we went inside, the night receiptionist was SLEEPING on the couch. we apparently woke him up by literally just getting inside the hotel and he SHHHH-ed us, then when we tried to buy water and some other stuff, he started hitting things and we got so scared that we had to leave everything we wanted to buy and RUN up to our rooms because we were TERRIFIED OF HIM. and still, this isn’t everything!!!!!! the hair dryer didn’t work at all no matter what i tried. they could’ve at least fixed it. the body soap dispenser was also kinda empty. there could’ve been a bit more power sockets as well, like next to the mirrors or something. there wasn’t any small towels either so i had to wipe my private parts and my face with the same towel. isn’t that crazy?! the walls were also super thin and we could literally hear everything from outside. there were people who made noise every single night and the hotel staff didn’t even care to ask them to be quiet. it all felt so unsafe. however, the beds were very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep every night, so that’s a plus point. there were some nice receiptionist WOMEN as well, so i’d like to thank them for making this not so nice stay a bit nicer. i don’t think we’ll ever come back, and i don’t recommend this place. thank you though!
First of all service was bad, and the staff gave off a feeling of "why are you bothering me". Secondly make sure to not pay twice for breakfast, because they will try. Thirdly there was a water outage and the staff didnt notify anyone. I had to go ask them multiple times and not all of the staff were even aware. They couldnt give an answer if the water was still drinkable (according to the posters inside rooms, it should be drinkable) since after the outage there was brown water coming out of the tap. Only when we were able to meet the plumbers they told us to not drink it. The staff somehow werent aware of this or didnt care. And still it was uncomfortable to deal with the staff, they were rude and unhelpful. Breakfast was very plain and definitely not worth 18€ especially since there were ants and fruit flys in the food. Cleaning staff did amazing so this complaint is about everyone else. Room was good, airconditioning worked great and the noise cancellation was amazing. I recommend to choose another hotel, not this.
This hotel is my favourite when I have to stay in the vicinity of Brussels, South-East from Brussels or near Brussels Airport. The rooms are very nice, equipped with excellent beds, a good, very clean, renewed bathroom, with excellent shower, all amenities and hair dryer, and genius is the bathroom door, which reaches to your room entrance, and thus you can close your room from the room entrance, being extra isolation from possible noise from the corridor. Although situated near Brussels Airport, the rooms are very quiet. You can have a good breakfast or an excellent pizza. The location is ideal and easy reachable. With on top of it, excellent and very welcoming staff, they are the 6th and 7th star to the hotel, always friendly and helpful, it feels like coming home. Top !
The hotel is in the area of the airport, but you can't reach it on foot. Buses are available, their stops are at 6/10 mins to the hotel. I spent there just one night and it was alright. Easy check-in and check out. The room's style was old, but it was clean. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and the hairdryer were provided. The bed was comfortable and it was possible to adjust the temperature of the heater. I enjoyed the breakfast: continental with wide choice of bread, fresh croissants and pain au chocolat, muffins, pain au raisin. Cereals, yogurt, jams, nuts, seeds, dried and fresh fruits. Tea, coffe and juices. Ham, sliced cheese, different kinds of spread( peanut, Biscoff, chocolate etc).Boiled or scrambled eggs, sausages and beans. Not sure if the prices are ok since my company booked for me. Overall I slept well.
