I’m only commenting on the restaurant as I haven’t stayed at the hotel. We tried the breakfast buffet at Van der Valk Hotel Waterloo and honestly... it's a solid 4/5 from me. Think: fresh pastries , juices & fruit , specialty coffees 3, cheeses & charcuterie, eggs, omelettes... basically everything you need tor a slow, indulgent morning. # What I loved: So much variety (there's something for everyone) Fresh + well presented Relaxed, elegant #atmosphere What could be better: It's not the most "wow" brunch I've ever had... but definitely worth it for the price. €22 per person (kids half price 4 4) Daily from 06:30-10:30 They've also got a restaurant, brasserie for dinner and lunch however I haven’t tried it.

Im, sorry, but my first booking was for a normal room which cost me 110 euro or something like that... Because i payed for the room already through my bank, Then i got an email from you, telling me there was no available rooms on the dates i had booked, So i could NOT get my money back, as that is your policy, I had to UP GRADE, which is a rip off system, because on Booking.com it is possible to get a refund!!! Please dont call me a liar. The coffee filter had mold in it.. its a shame i didnt take a foto..I cleaned some of it, purely out of unbelief and the receptionist took it away and cleaned it...Please dont underestemate my exsperience...And NO, i want be coming back to visit you or recommend you. I paid a lot of money for my room, which I didn't really need but had to upgrade because I booked on line then they told me there was no accomodation on the date I required so I HAD TO update. 170 euro for one night. I've never paid that amount of money in my life before to sleep. The room was dusty and the coffee machine had mold in the filter. Reception sorted it out quickly but it was for me a terrible experience I'm sorry to say. I live in the NL and Van der Valk is very well know and loved there. They could learn from each other, just we all have to do.
Perfect location right next door to the Waterloo Office Park and MasterCard's HQ. Comfy rooms and abundant breakfast. There's something very special about those vaulted ceilings and cobblestones.
