I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying here again. The hotel is clean, quiet, and makes a great home base for exploring Brussels. Pros: * The shower has excellent water pressure. * The air conditioning is easy to operate and cools the room very well. * The room is exceptionally quiet, making for a good night’s sleep. * The bed and pillows are comfortable, with supportive pillows that aren’t overly soft or mushy. * The room is well lit overall, although the lighting above the desk is a bit dim. A desk lamp would make the workspace much more functional. * The in-room safe is cleverly integrated into what also serves as a bedside table. * The location is very convenient—about a 10-minute walk to Grand Place and Brussels Central Station, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. * There’s an on-site restaurant, Klok, which is convenient if you don’t feel like going out. The breakfast selection appeared somewhat limited, and I didn’t have dinner there, but it’s nice to have the option. Areas for Improvement: * The shower floor is quite slippery, and there are no grab bars. Providing a non-slip bath mat would greatly improve safety. * There are no hooks to hang towels near the sink or shower, despite having plenty of available wall space. * The closet only has five hangers. Eight to ten hangers would be much more practical for most travelers. * Surprisingly, there are no charging outlets or USB ports at the desk, which makes it inconvenient for anyone working from the room. There are two charging ports in the bathroom and three outlets along the wall beneath the TV/bookshelf, but having power readily available at the desk would be much more useful. * While the room includes a water kettle and a carafe of water, it would be nice if the hotel also provided complimentary instant coffee and tea packets for guests who don’t feel like going downstairs for the complimentary beverages. * A full-length mirror is noticeably missing and would be a welcome addition. Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable, quiet stay in a great location. With a few thoughtful improvements to the room’s functionality and amenities, it would be an even better experience.
Very clean and comfortable business hotel. Family run and has that family feeling. Great coffee. Rooms are a little small but comfortable. Rugged industrial style in the rooms. Good alternative if you just need a place to rest your body.
Certainly a unique experience. The chosen interior design felt more like an unfinished construction site, similar to the kind of basic setup where temporary workers might stay. The first impression was that it would be hard to find something worse than that. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom area, especially since the shower had no door. The room lacked proper furniture altogether: wooden crates served as bedside tables, a pipe sticking out of the wall was used as a hanger, and there was a metal shelf that looked more suitable for storing jars in a basement or tools in a garage. There was no real space to unpack luggage, unless you kept your suitcase on the bed and slept next to it. There was also nowhere to properly store clothes, which made the stay even more inconvenient.
Perfect stay, short walk to the Gran Place. Room was modern, stayed in a double room with a view, clean and tidy, had a nice view over the fountain on the square. Free coffee in the reception was a nice touch to start the day. Late checkout time and I managed to get an early check in too. The lady checking in was friendly and helpful. The guy checking at wasn't as much. Will say here again in Brussels.
We were only here for one night. Everything was fine, and I liked the overall ambiance of the hotel. Oh, and there was charcoal in the water carafe in the room. That was a first for me, and the water really did taste better. We recommend staying here.
