Everything about this place is wonderful, and in particular Nicholas and all the staff at the front counter. The location is wonderful. A very quiet neighborhood, but easy access to everything. The room is spacious, the bathroom is spacious, The towels were Divine! And the in hotel restaurant, a Spanish cuisine restaurant, is I am told one of the best In Brussels and I can believe that. The wait staff in the restaurant was the nicest ever, and every food item was excellent. I would give this hotel more stars if I could
The staff pleased us the most, cheerful, helpful and welcoming. Especially the Spanish employee Ana (from the breakfast/kitchen team) truly deserves a huge compliment; she made the breakfast experience complete. Every day she greeted us super warmly and had nice conversations with us and others. Excellent service whenever you needed something. On top of that, she seemed to be the hardest-working employee. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in a hotel. We stayed 7 nights, Unfortunately the breakfast was the same all the 7 mornings. It would be amazing if they would change or roulate options. The hygiene in the room disappointed us. There was a very unpleasant smell in the hotel room coming from the bathroom, which we had to stay in for 7 nights. The room was often not cleaned properly (except 1 lady on day 4 and 5), and there were several cobwebs in the room. The floors did not look nice due to scratches and aging. The 25 m² premium room felt extremely cramped! Also the TV in the room seemed not to be a smart-TV, so for example no Netflix or YouTube to play movies, music videos etc.
I had a wonderful stay at NH Collection Grand Sablon. The room was spotless, and the beds were large and comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options. What made our stay truly exceptional, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their professionalism and kindness made us feel genuinely well looked after. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent hotel with amazing, well-appointed rooms and a very convenient location. It’s easily walkable to the main parts of the city, which makes getting around simple and stress-free. The front desk team are consistently friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. There’s also a very handy sweet stand by reception, which is a nice touch and great for a quick energy boost during the day. Service throughout is excellent, and the breakfast is genuinely outstanding. Possibly the best hotel breakfast grub and selectikn I’ve ever had, with plenty of variety and fresh options. The made to order omelettes are a real highlight too!
Pleasant surprise in a charming historic building. The layout with narrow, winding corridors clearly reflects the age of the property, but once you are in the room it feels modern and thoughtfully designed. I especially appreciated the clean look without any carpet and the fact that the windows can actually be opened, which is great if you like fresh air instead of only air‑conditioning. Overall, the room felt comfortable, quiet and well maintained, with a nice balance between classic building and contemporary interior. Breakfast was a real highlight: a generous buffet with several gluten‑free options, lots of pastries, plenty of different juices, as well as a wide choice of cold cuts, cheeses, pâtés and many small bites. It felt more like an upscale brunch than just a standard hotel breakfast, and everything was well presented and regularly refilled. Service at breakfast was friendly and efficient, even when the restaurant was busy. The big downside is the gym. It is extremely small and cramped, with very limited free weights and hardly any open floor space. For a proper workout with strength training or HIIT, it is almost unusable; you are basically limited to a few machines and body‑weight exercises if no one else is there. If a good fitness area is important to you, this could be a serious drawback. Location is very convenient: the hotel is in a pleasant area on/near Grand Sablon with cafés and chocolate shops around, and it is about a 10‑minute walk from Brussels Central Station, which makes it easy to arrive by train and get around the city on foot.”
