Food here was great! We only ordered tapas and bread bc we weren’t too hungry and the lady there (i think she also owns the place) gave us a heads up that all orders were good for sharing. This tip was very helpful since we got to try two different dishes and genuinely enjoyed them! Service was also awesome bc the lady there was very very friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were served really fast. Their menu also had a lot of options and seemed like a good place to also go to with friends so you can try a variety of options. :) When I come back I want to try their paella and maybe some of the wines, too. The place was also nice and the interiors looked nice, but since the night air was very cool, everyone opted to be seated outside. Their al fresco area was also very spacey so there’s a lot of seating that could accommodate plenty of people. I think they’re also open til late (maybe until 10:30 or 11pm? But best to check their daily sched to be sure), since we came at around 9:30pm and were still accommodated which we were thankful for after a long day of going around the city. :) We also got to meet their dog, Bolita, who was such a cutie!! Hahaha. The lady (so sorry I didnt get her name) even handed her to me at one point so Bolita could sit on my lap and be pet for a while wahaha. Overall a great experience and 10/10 would recommend dining here!! :)
The vibes on the outdoor patio here was elite. A lot of greenery on the porch which was so nice and the weather was just perfect. The service here was also great food came out when it was ready so we got it while it was hot. The menu is great and who doesn't love tappas.
Expensive and small quantities. 5 shrimps costed more than 20€. It's a place to share food (most of the tables are for 2 people) and they put odd quantities. 5 shrimps, 5 chicken wings... Tapas are not very Spanish neither.. The local is nice and service is nice too. 94€ for all you see in the picture (shrimps, chicken wings, bravas and 2 small cocktails).
Los Choringos is one of our favorite restaurants in Brussels and one of the few places we returned to consistently during the two months we were there. The food is always fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor, we were never disappointed. Its not typical tapas. The two sisters who run the restaurant are warm, hardworking, and genuinely lovely, and their hospitality elevates the entire experience. We highly recommend giving it a try.
One of the best places in Brussels for food. I had the shrimp scampi and grilled pork. The flavors are mouth watering and I never had pork that tender. Can get busy so Reserve a table ahead of time. You will have to order two entrees
