Great value for the price! The location is excellent, although it took me a little while to find the hotel inside the Galeries. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom. It’s within walking distance of restaurants, major attractions, and Brussels Central Station. It was a little noisy since it’s located inside the Galeries, but it didn’t affect our sleep. The refrigerator was located outside the room and shared with other guests, which was fine.
The apartment was fantastic just as the location of the stay. Also the breakfast was good in a nicely decorated area with a cute inner garden. The only thing we were missing was air conditioner in the apartment, especially since we visit during the warmer season. There were two fans but we also needed to open all the windows to get the rooms colder. Most windows lead to the galleria so then the sound of visitors filled our rooms. Not a major problem since we spent most time outside of the apartment during day time. Would definitely visit again!
Fabulous studio apartment above the Galleries, superb location for our short weekend in Brussels. The decor is really stylish, roomy and well equipt. Huge comfy bed and luxuriously large bathroom with roll top bath. We arrived late on Friday and the (beautiful and stylish) guy on reception was super friendly and helpful. Could ask for better accommodation and service.
We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel des Galeries. The location is fantastic — right inside the beautiful Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert. It is incredibly convenient for restaurants, cafés, and shopping, and the atmosphere of the gallery itself is elegant and charming. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a modern and stylish interior. We felt very relaxed there and would definitely love to stay again in the future. One small tip for future guests: when taking an Uber to the hotel, the navigation sometimes stops a little away from the entrance, so it may require a short walk. However, when we asked the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to the airport, everything was very smooth and easy. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we would happily stay here again.
The location was amazing. The room was spacious (apartment in queen's quarters) and incredibly quiet but for the price, it definitely could have been better. There was no thermostat in our room. The towels were very thin. The curtains were somewhat torn, cheap, and poorly installed. The shower had dirt/mold in all the grout lines...clearly hadn't been cleaned well in quite a while. The location made up for the shortcomings. The breakfast was good. Fresh/hot eggs would have been nice but still a pretty good breakfast.
