Nice space but they search bags at the entrance (unacceptable to enter a public space - the lake is not the property of anyone), they also don't allow to play music not even from mobile phone at the time when the lake is surrounded by kids who triple the decibels. Not to forget that food and drink is not allowed at all cos they run a business therein so apparently they only look at your pocket and how to consume their stuff. Unacceptable again and not welcoming at all.
A gorgeous little lakeside place with sandy beach, restaurant and peace and quiet really. I don’t understand all the negative reviews here, makes me wonder about what people actually want in life. This place is perfect for a day away from busy and hot Brussels grind, to get some sun and spend time swimming. It is a lake, so naturally you don’t have see-through water, but I really enjoyed the water temperature and the trees around, even the geese and their cute little goslings. Food was delivered perfectly on time and it was great, big portions too! We will definitely go to this place again! Thank you! 🙏
