Hipster service alert! Slow, sloppy… unprofessional. The cookies are great. Coffee is ok. The terrace is of course their strongest point. The inside is spacious but unfortunately the music is way too loud.
I went there to celebrate a party and I would recommend it 100%. Good DJs, very good treatment from the very beginning (thank you Sara!) beautiful place and very important as well - good temperature inside. See you next time!
Bar du Matin kindly replied quickly to my request for a reservation for a medium sized group for my birthday. The reservation went smoothly, and they even lent us plates, knives and spoons for the birthday cake. Great service, the only issue was that the music was extremely loud for a bar for drinking & chatting rather than a dancing bar - we found it difficult to hear each other speak. But otherwise everything was perfect!
I celebrated my birthday at Bar du Matin and I'm very happy about the atmosphere and the service. The only thing that I think it can be improved is the menu du soir/snacks to offer more sharing options.
The best part of this bar/restaurant was its social aspect, many people were in there as a local meeting place. Unfortunately the beer was very poorly kept, to the point of not worth drinking. The food was canteen quality. The very nice large curved windows, looked good but at his time of year let the cold air through.
