The staff were really nice, some things were fresh but the hot food looked like it’s been sitting there for a long time. A couple of weird/ loud people but overall very comfortable. Could be cleaner.
The Diamond Lounge at Brussels Airport is a decent place to spend some time before your flight, but it didn’t completely meet my expectations. The lounge is clean, spacious, and offers a comfortable atmosphere away from the busy terminal. Finding a quiet corner to relax or catch up on work is easy, and the large windows overlooking the airport create a pleasant environment. The food selection is acceptable, with a variety of snacks, sandwiches, salads, and drinks, but I expected a bit more in terms of freshness and variety. The coffee was good, and there were enough beverage options to satisfy most travelers. Staff members were polite and welcoming throughout my visit. Overall, it’s a nice lounge if you want to escape the crowds and enjoy some peace before boarding. However, compared with other airport lounges across Europe, it lacks the little touches that make the experience feel truly premium. A wider food selection, warmer meal options, and more attention to detail would easily make this lounge stand out. Still, it was a comfortable stop before my flight, and I’d consider visiting again if I had a long layover.
The Diamond Lounge (near A42) 4 stars. pros: food and drink options, and it’s a good size. lots of seating. cons: no outlets for charging that we could easily locate, and probably too many tables too close together. it’s a fine place for a shorter layover but not the most comfortable for a longer stay with very few couches or comfortable chairs. also, since there’s no carpet, it’s noisy. nothing to absorb the noise.
Entered pretty easily with Priority Pass (mid-day). The drinks come in a nice variety (Leffe beers served as well). Salad bar is ok (the salad itself is good). The dips and other options don’t look so fresh / tasty. I tried some, but nothing I would go for again. The warm options seem ok, but nothing special or delicious, like any other chicken dish in any other airport lounge. During the heatwave, the lounge is well air conditioned. Generally speaking, drinks are great, breakfast stands well prepared, other things fine. I don’t think the lounge deserves this much of negative comments, at least from this first time experience. It’s definitely better than all three Geneva Airport lounges.
I recently visited the Diamond Lounge at Brussels Airport and found it to be quite an outstanding space overall. The lounge is fairly sizeable, with enough room to feel comfortable even when it gets busy. There are different meal options available depending on the time of day, with a menu on display and a broad range of dishes to choose from. I especially appreciated the many salad options with condiments readily available, which made it easy to put together something fresh and light. Drinks are another strong point: there are multiple choices including fizzy drinks, liqueurs, and soft drinks, all included at no extra charge, along with coffee machines for hot drinks. The staff were dedicated and attentive, even in the early hours, which created a welcoming atmosphere. The lounge also has a bathroom inside, although there are no shower facilities, which is worth noting if you are looking to freshen up after a long flight.
