Recenzje
We stayed here with our 7 mo old infant for three days. We were so happy with our room and amenities. They also provided us with a free cot fr the baby. The reception staff (especially the night staff on Aug 18,19) were very friendly and welcoming. Had read some negative reviews about house keeping staff , but we had a nice experience with them. Always greeted us with a smile. However we had a bad experience at the dining. The prices on the menu are quite misleading. We had a very light breakfast (one egg Benedict and one egg florentine), but were charged the buffet price on both days, which cost us 150 euros. We did not have anything else, neither we were told we would be paying the price of the buffet. We felt we were unreasonably overcharged for what we had even for the standards of a 5 star hotel . It felt like a hidden charge trap.
Great location and a really wonderful place to stay especially if you can an international traveller. Very close to all the tourist points and multiple walking options for dinner/lunch. The staff is exceptional and very helpful. There is a great outdoor /rooftop place for enjoying a quient evening. Highly recommend this place
Pros - Great location that's walkable to all the major points in Brussels - Friendly reception staff - Good breakfast - Rooftop garden restaurant is a great hangout spot during good weather days Cons We had a very bad experience dining at the outdoor garden restaurant. We had 100 euros on property credit to spend so we decided to have lunch. Here's the list of things that went wrong: - The service staff was extremely slow and incompetent - We had to request every single service by walking to the main restaurant and asking for a waiter - When ordering we asked about the amount of mushroom in one of the main entree. The waiter said he doesn't know and didn't offer to ask either. We ordered since there were very few vegetarian options and the dish was fully loaded with mushrooms. - We specifically asked for tap water assuming we won't be charged. However, we were charged 7 euros. When asked about waiving this off, the manager came and told us that in Brussels they can't serve tap water. This isn't true since there appears to be no such law. In fact, many local guests were giving their personal water bottles to be refilled. During the heat wave, the water wasn't even refilled until we asked many times. At the very least, we should be informed about the water being charged. - We ordered a single appetizer. However, the waiter somehow assumed we ordered 2 of them. We were a bit surprised but thought they just split it for two people. However on the bill we were charged for 2 appetizers. - We basically spent 30 euros when we shouldn't have. We hadn't ordered the water or extra appetizer. The manager doubled down by making claims about non-existent water laws. We decided to avoid the hassle of arguing with the staff about 30 euros to avoid ruining our valuable vacation day. - We understand there might be English language barriers but the lack of communication and ordering of dishes without our persimmon is not acceptable. - And we also noticed the same waiter dropped an entire order of beer and food on some other customers which was unfortunate. Overall, the lunch experience was way below our expectations at a "luxury" property but I'm still giving 4 stars as the rest of the experience was great.
Great location at the central. A airport shuttle stop in near by around 10mins walk. The staff are very friendly and proactive. Room is clean and tidy like the pics. Unfortunately this time my room doesn't come with a bathtub like the pics but still I enjoy it a lot. The breakfast is great too, overall the quality is good but slightly not much of choice. Highly recommend. Also lots of restaurant nearby
We really enjoyed the peacefulness and decor of the room. There was no noise at all, the rooms are nicely furnished and the bathroom well put together with decent complimentary toiletries to make the stay more comfortable. We had dinner one of the nights and although the menu is not comprehensive, the food was well cooked and delicious. We also had a very well made cocktail, with my partner particularly enjoying the dry vodka martini. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a very relaxing experience overall. It was also a good area, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of grand place with some lovely cafes within walking distance, but close enough to take a trip there
