My all time fav for mussels at Brussel. Recommend the dish no. 287 with red chilli curry with extra cream. The service was superb.
Very friendly waiter and choose a table I really like with good view. The food is yummy actually. Also the amount is not too big or too small and I can finish it. Like it very much. Will come back.
Came here with my dad and had a lovely dinner. The sea bass I had was excellent and my dad very much enjoyed the salmon he got. The staff was very knowledgable and explained a few things on the menu I was not familiar with. The atmosphere was nice and we enjoyed the outdoor seating.
Very tasty lunch, 3 course menu on a weekday afternoon. Mussels were tasty and portion generous. Good beer choices. Casual outdoors seating. Street was less busy than the main tourist district. Nice relaxing lunch.
We have had dinner but walk passed that stretch of seafood restaurants at St Catherine on the way to the Metro. So we decided to have a go with mussels like a supper before heading home. We picked Mussels Mongers. Ordered just mussels with white wine and a coffee. It came with some bread n butter and a throw of fries. I must say the mussels were quite nice, fresh and had not much of a seafood stench altho I haven't tried the other eateries. The white wine sauce was great. The serving was generous and both of us couldn't finish it. But we saw several others eating the whole pot by themselves. Price for the mussels was €26, which i thought was a little steep altho the neighboring stalls were serving this even more dearly. Service was good, young guys took care of the restaurant. Ambience was not too bad as well, bright and family style. Convenience wise, it was just nx to the Catherine subway.
