We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, the service was great, and the Japanese restaurant was absolutely delicious with a fantastic selection of dishes. The reason I have not given the room a full five-star rating is because the air conditioning and ventilation system did not appear to be well maintained. The room itself was clean, but dust seemed to be coming through the ventilation system, which affected the soft furnishings and may be an issue for guests with allergies. We stayed in a Family Suite on the 25th floor. As we were only staying for one night, we did not report the ventilation issue during our stay. It was not until later in the evening that my skin and nasal passages became irritated. We hope the hotel can arrange a thorough HVAC maintenance service to address this issue. On a positive note, the complimentary snacks were a lovely touch, and the staff were attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay. The swimming pool was excellent, although due to its popularity, reservations are required in advance. Despite the ventilation issue, we enjoyed our stay and would still recommend this hotel to others.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cardo Brussels, Autograph Collection! The property is stunning—modern, chic, and full of character. The lobby and common areas are beautifully designed, and the rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The bed was heavenly, and the blackout curtains ensured a great night’s sleep. Location-wise, it’s perfect—close to the airport and major transport links, yet quiet enough to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. A couple of minor hiccups: the shampoo dispenser was empty upon arrival, ad well as the body wash in the shower. Also, no shoehorn in the room, and bathrobes are only available on request. Overall, these were tiny blips in an otherwise flawless stay. I’d absolutely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for style and comfort.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay here. The location is excellent, with easy access to buses, trams, and the train station directly opposite the hotel, making it very convenient to get around Brussels. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. My room was outstanding,very clean, comfortable, warm, and well-maintained. I also loved the beautiful ambience and minimalistic design of the hotel. Everything smelled fresh, and the overall atmosphere was serene and relaxing. The swimming pool was lovely and definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The only downside was that guests need to book the pool in advance, so you can’t use it whenever you want. I understand this is to manage the number of guests using the facilities, but a bit more flexibility would have been nice. The pool was also closed for maintenance when we first arrived, although it reopened later. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Even though it was short, it was a lovely and memorable experience, and I would happily stay here again.
I loved it. The rooms are huge - bigger than some studio apts in NYC. The breakfast was very generous and fresh. There is a bar in the hotel with great beer selection. There is an Asian restaurant (not directly affiliated w hotel) on top floor. The views are great; the quality of the food is ok. It’s a great location. I had no time to use the spa or pool. There were a few conferences there - ie E&Y Western Europe so it was a sophisticated crowd. Outdoor space as well. I would stay there again. I highly recommend it. That said - if someone wants concierge to take bags to room; 24 hour snack; gift shop - then it wouldn’t meet the needs.
