We visited **The Eight Rooftop** for drinks and dinner. **Drinks** A beer and a bottle of mineral water, both served nice and cold. **Food** We ordered two different dishes: * **Vintage Croque Monsieur (€15):** A good toasted ham and cheese sandwich. * **Pinsa Mediterraneo (€18):** Generous portion, but it didn't really resemble a pizza. It lacked herbs and seasoning, and even adding pepper didn't improve the flavour very much. **Overall** * Average food * Generous portions * Presentation was fine * Prices were reasonable * Friendly staff * Service was acceptable, although it felt somewhat disorganised despite having plenty of staff on duty. The rooftop terrace and the panoramic view over Brussels are definitely the highlights. I'd happily recommend this place for drinks and the scenery. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the food. A few hours after dinner, I developed a stomach ache and was sick later that evening. I cannot say with certainty that the meal was the cause, but based on my experience, I would return for the drinks and the view rather than the food. P.S. The music was quite loud, making conversation difficult. Even more noticeable, the playlist seemed to repeat the same style of music over and over. After a while, it became rather monotonous and took away from the otherwise pleasant rooftop atmosphere.
This RoofTop Café is such a lovely place — delicious snacks, warm and attentive service, and an absolutely amazing view that makes every visit feel special. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy quality moments.
If you're ever in Brussels this is a hidden gem. Located on floor 8 of the Bedford Hotel. Not only does it serve outstanding cocktails but a wide range of spirits, beers and wines. But, its food is outstanding. I ordered Halibut on a bed of potatoes, my wife Teriyaki Salmon, wonderful. Try to visit before it becomes too popular. You must book to get a table on the terrace. Would we go again? Absolutely, probably every night.
Random find via Google search. Hidden gem. Luckily got there early enough to be seated outside before dinner reservations started. Food (onion burgers) and drinks (aperol spritz & beer) were good. Nice views. Decent & friendly service.
I wanted to come up to the roof bar as we are staying here. The views are lovely. The service and drinks are lovely. Im just annoyed by smokers. I dont want to be covered in smoke when I dont smoke. I understand we are outside and people who smoke would like a smoke. I wish places had a smoking and non smoking section. So us non smokers can enjoy an outdoor experience with out having to stink. Not really this places fault I dislike smoking. Just less enjoyable for me.
