Great location. Superb parking availability but aging hotel. I hesitated to give full 5 star but think it is better to stay with 4 until a refit is done. Though I feel they mean we'll enough for 5...
Great environment, beautiful place, very good food. Meeting rooms are really too noisy. Even with the hall only half full, it’s hard to have a conversation without raising your voice. Something really needs to be done about the acoustics
The hotel is in a poor state of repair. See the photos with wear on the cabinets and wardrobes, corrosion on the bathroom radiators, and stains on the carpets. The shower plugs were just left on the floor. Checking in was tiresome but the worst experience was the racist comments from the waiters. I don’t know if they were trying to be humorous but it comes across as offensive.
This is a beautiful hotel located about 35-40 mins drive from the Grand Place area of Brussels. There is a lake in front of the property that makes the hotel a scenic place. We stayed here after being in the city and it was very quiet. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly.
Technically a 5 star hotel, but this hotel didn't give me 5 star vibes at all - more like a 3 star max. The hotel feels old and worn down and urgently needs a total refurbishement to bring it to modern standards. Room ok, but nothing special. Minibar only contained water, tv is small, bathroom wasn't fully clean. The hallways are dreadful and feel creepily stuck in the 80's. General rooms OK but not great either. Service not great, they lack the 5 star service driven attitude, it almost feels as a burden when you go ask something. Didn't use the wellness, but it seems you have to call to check availability as there's only room for 10 people and you can only stay for 1h... Again, not very 5 star at all. Overall not a 5* experience, far from it.
