Description
Meet your guide at Mary'Grand'Place at 11:00 AM. The tour begins with a brief history of the Grand-Place and its guildhouses. Next, visit two of Brussels' best chocolate shops for four tastings, including Grand Crus from Peru and Madagascar, plus a Truffle Champagne Rosé chocolate.
After the tastings, explore the old town’s narrow alleys reflecting Brussels' French and Spanish architectural heritage. See landmarks like the Bourse, the oldest part of Brussels, and the Manneken Pis statue.
At around noon, enjoy an authentic Belgian Trappist beer at one of the oldest taverns in town.
Following the beer, a full-course Belgian lunch is served near the old fish market, away from typical tourist spots. The meal includes mussels, meatballs in cherry tomato sauce, and vol au vent. For dessert, choose the classic Brussels waffle.
After lunch, continue sightseeing at Saint Catherine, the Old Port, and the rooftop of the city hall for panoramic city views. The tour concludes with visits to the Royal Galleries, Brussels’s oldest bar (established 1695), and the Jeanneken Pis statue, finishing back at the Grand-Place.
