There were 9 of us in Ghent for my son's Stag weekend. The hotel location is an excellent base for the city centre. Service was wonderful delivered with a smile. The rooms were clean with a comfortable bed and en-suite facilities. We appreciated the breakfast especially after the long days of enjoying ourselves around the city; enjoying the festival which we weren't even aware was going on until we arrived.

The location is fantastic, beds comfortable, shower large, breakfast tasty and ambiance made up of garden, burbling lake and bird song. So why not five stars? Because of sticky heat. The air conditioning was not evident in our room and we couldn't take advantage of the wonderful breeze because the windows would only open a crack (locked). Appreciate everything else but won't stay here again in the summer!

Beautiful place in an excellent location with views. The large garden adds to the charm, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. One downside was that I stayed during a summer heat wave, and since there was no air conditioning, the room felt quite warm. Also, perhaps because of the garden nearby, there were quite a few mosquitoes in hotel. Overall, it was a lovely stay with a beautiful setting and great breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at Het Rustpunt. The rooms are modern and spacious, spotlessly clean. Breakfast is extremely generous with many choices. Coffee and tea available all day. Excellent location just 5 mins walk to the Castle and the boat trip. Everything is easily walkable. I loved the peacefulness of the place, highly recommended.

Great place to stay. Walkable to most sites and close to public transport and restaurants. Room was a nice size and the bathroom was very large-especially for Europe! The breakfast options were great with lots of protein choices- not just pastries. The garden area is beautiful and peaceful. It’s like a little oasis in the city. Would definitely stay here again!
