I had an excellent stay at The Barsey by Warwick during a business trip to Brussels. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. The staff took the time to provide helpful information and made me feel at home throughout my stay. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a wonderful view that made it a pleasure to unwind after a busy day. Everything was well maintained, and the hotel offered the perfect balance of comfort and elegance. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend The Barsey by Warwick to both business and leisure travelers visiting Brussels.
The hotel is reasonably well located and the rooms are well appointed. The shower however suffered from temperature oscillations ranging from burning to cold. The oscillation frequency was reasonably constant, so one could avoid the extremes being a little careful. Still, not what one would expect in a 4-star hotel. When I checked in I was asked to pay a deposit of €50 with the promise that it would be refunded to the same credit card at check out. I has now been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for the refund. Caveat emptor!
We had a truly unique and amazing experience at this hotel in Brussels! When we first checked in, we noticed a minor electrical issue—the TV and kettle weren't working. However, the way the hotel handled it was outstanding. Since the hotel was fully booked, they couldn't just move us to a similar room. Instead, they upgraded us to their Master Suite (their most expensive room) at no extra charge! We felt incredibly lucky and absolutely loved every moment of our stay. It was a wonderful, special experience. Huge thanks to the staff for their amazing cooperation and for genuinely valuing their guests. Highly recommended!
I was welcomed by Mrs. Saida at reception, and she made the whole arrival feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable. Her natural warmth and approachable manner immediately put me at ease. She was wonderfully patient, took the time to listen with real care, and handled everything in a calm, thoughtful way. Her attention to detail was excellent—everything was precise and ran seamlessly. She is a big part of what makes you feel truly welcome here, and certainly a reason I would gladly check in again at this wonderful hotel.
Luxurious hotel perfectly located for easy access to the centre of Brussels. The room was lovely, spacious, modern and very clean. We were greeted by Antonia who was very welcoming. Small note - I also loved the hotel perfume as soon as you walk through the doors. It’s a nice touch! The bed was soooo comfortable! Loved that. I do have a couple of negatives to share though.. For a 4-star hotel with premium prices, I sincerely despise the fact that there is no conditioner in the rooms. Even the most basic hotels have shampoo AND conditioner. Due to my hair being dyed, there is no way I could wash my hair this morning which is a real shame. Secondly, my partner and I forgot to bring toothpaste. When I asked the receptionist on shift “this is a bit awkward but might you have toothpaste or is there a shop nearby you know of?”, they very weirdly answered “Oh are you planning to do kinky things with it?” before handing us the dental kits. I was grateful for the dental kits, I could have done without the unprofessional and just plain weird comment. I think the only other thing is that I wish there was a full length mirror in the room but that’s very minor as there were larger mirrors.
