Autoworld

At the heart of Cinquantenaire Park, auto enthusiasts will be in their element!

Autoworld presents a journey through time, showcasing a variety of different makes and models of car. A journey that starts from the birth of the automobile to the 1950s, taking in the ‘Belle Époque’, the Roaring Twenties and the 1930s. The Citroen 2CV, the Austin Minor and the Fiat 600 will no longer be a secret…

At the exhibition organised to celebrate fifty years of independence from Belgium in 1880, a series of pavilions and halls were built. In 1905, the Hall was divided into two parts to accommodate the Museum of Aviation and on the other side, the Automobile Museum. In 1920, they were transformed into the "Palais Mondial," - an international museum. However, it wasn’t until 1986 that Autoworld's premises opened up for the enjoyment of everyone.
