I can't say much about Publika, unfortunately. I didn't even realize I'd been there until days later when I was looking through my photos after very boozy weekend in Gent. My pictures show my friends and I found a nice table and enjoyed a variety of ales. I gave it 5 stars because I can't think of a reason not to, and someone there was nice enough to take our picture. Next time I'm in Gent, I'll hit up Publika earlier and give a better review.
My experience doesn’t reflect what’s on google. Really pleasant girl served me. Nice burger and chips. Quick service. All the tables were full of locals, so can’t be bad. Free wifi. Toilets in Belgium are weird it you are used to male/ female segregated bathrooms.Yeah these are integrated. Not a place to get stage fright with a woman standing next to the urinal.
