This is the perfect spot! The view towards the castle and the little river is absolutely amazing. Honestly, it’s a must if you’re looking for a relaxed and very local experience. The service was fantastic and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended! 👏🏼
Beautiful small pub right next to the castle. It was dog friendly, very romantic and cozy. Will definitely be back on my next trip to Ghent.
By far the warmest and most welcoming barmaid in Belgium. The perfect atmosphere awaits inside what is quite a small, dark, candlelit pub. Even though it's quite close to a major tourist attraction, it was an authentic quiet place to drink some authentic Belgium beers. Good music also!
Only popped in for drinks so can’t comment on the food but if it is as good as the cocktails and beers then you won’t go wrong. The barman knew his beers and made a great recommendation based on what I told him I liked, the Expresso Martinis were awesome, according to my wife, big bonus being dog friendly. I loved the rustic interior and the vibe was very cool, defo visit again the next time we are here.
