Cultural Centre of Jacques Frank

Located in one of the major commercial arteries of Saint-Gilles, the Jacques Franck Cultural Centre was originally a small local cinema. In 1969, it transformed into the "Théâtre du Parvis" and was a big influence in contemporary theater. In 1973, Senator-Mayor Jacques Franck decided to make it a cultural center although it wasn’t until 1992 that the "CCJF" was approved by the French Community.

The Centre is focused on publicising quality works of art – with a particular emphasis on contemporary art. The full program can be found on the Cultural Centre website.
