Overall, a pleasant stay, though there are a few areas that could be improved. The rooms are visually very nice, and the staff is genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. However, the housekeeping needs a bit more attention to detail and boundaries. While the room wasn't filthy, the air conditioner vents had a noticeable layer of dust, and the windows couldn't be opened for fresh air. On top of that, after breakfast, the cleaner walked right into our room with us instead of waiting for us to leave. Lastly, the breakfast tasted good, but it felt overpriced for what was offered. It is a lovely hotel with great service, but better cleaning standards and a fairer breakfast price would make it much better.
We booked this hotel day of arrival at 5pm due to our original hotel being unsuitable for staying in. We went from panicking about money, our trip being ruined and feeling sick from a dusty room to sitting tucked up and cozy in an air conditioned room watching our favourite TV show. A total shift. This hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in in a city center. The staff were so helpful and friendly upon arrival, check in was convenient and easy and the room was big and cold!!! (If you wanted it to be cold hehe). The room was spotless! It had a cute artsy look to it with marble floors and a big mirror and bean bag. The bathroom had everything you'd need and was so clean!! The room came with a smart TV so we could cast our TV shows/movies which helped us get cozy after a long day exploring the city. The room also had a kettle a small mini fridge/bar to keep a couple bottles cold. They also offer room service, but we didnt indulge here. The best part in our opinion is that the hotel is environmentally friendly and actively donated to causes with your stay. It's a 15 minute walk from the grand place but right next to the high street for shopping.
The staff were wonderful throughout my stay, going out of their way to make me feel welcome. They were very cooperative in adjusting my request for a late check-in due to altered travel plans. The location was ideal, with the Rogier metro and tram station just a couple of minutes walk away and fat food eateries nearby. The room was clean, we'll maintained and had all the facilities as advertised. As someone travelling solo for the first time, I genuinely felt safe and at ease the whole time.
Friendly hotel with a relaxed feel. Rooms are small but everything you need is there and in a great location. It is close to pick up points for tours and convenient for restaurants and all attractions. Breakfast was delicious and very generous in their cosy cafe. I can’t speak highly enough of their friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. They even took the trouble to mail a sentimental item I had left behind back to me! Thank you for a great stay.
Staff very helpful. Good location easy walk to town and metro. For a sustainable hotel shocked no vegan pastries or bread for breakfast. Website advertised vegan soup but told only available in winter. Nothing we could eat in the hotel's restaurant. Very disappointed as had booked the hotel assuming they would cater well for vegans. Room smaller than expected. Bed very comfortable and large but against wall so 1 of us had to climb in. Bean bag included as 'superior' room v uncomfortable. Cramped ensuite with poor toilet design as can't flush with lid up. Shower small but nice and hot and powerful. Curtains worked well to block out light. Hotel pretty quiet. Bit pricey for what you get and would not book again unless they become vegan friendly.
