Convenient location. Quiet with public transport nearby. Nice rooms and very good breakfast.
It is a perfectly lovely hotel. It is apparent that the building is older. The rooms are clean and lovely, though there are paint nicks and other cosmetic damage. There are antiquated features, such as obviously old locking mechanisms, but the rooms are clean and comfortable and have clearly been updated. We booked a room with a sauna. While the sauna is electric and not steam (which makes sense), it was clean and pleasant. It has great access to very easy and affordable public transportation, as well as great proximity to shops and restaurants. The breakfast is very good and the bar is quiet. EDIT: And then day after I added this review, they began updating and renovating the rooms. So please, don't let the "negatives" I listed influence you too heavily.
The hotel could benefit from some renovation in the bathrooms. The rooms are very spacious and modern, while the corridors feel a bit narrow. The mattress was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The rooms are bright and sunny, and come equipped with convenient amenities such as a coffee machine and an iron.
We spent 2 nights in Thon hotel during spring 2026. Spacious room equipped with all the amenities. Separate bathroom and toilet, definitely a plus point. Nespresso machine ready for morning quick fix. Parking available at certain rates. Close proximity to eateries and attractions. All in all, a pleasant stay!
Highly recommend. Definitely value for money. Stayed 3 nights with family. Friendly staff. Big rooms. Clean. Very good breakfast.
