No.1 ramen in Brussels. Rich and flavourful broth and chewy noodles. Sous Vide Chicken. This is amazing! Absolutely authentic Japanese ramen! Must try! Highly recommend Shoyu and paitan!

We had awa paitan and it was very good. Creamy, rich in flavor. The chicken was very good, very tender, and good flavour. I've had a lot of ramen over the years and this is definitely on the better side. Will definitely come back. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, we got free drinks, which was very kind of them. Only thing I would like to see changed is the portion for the main, I shared an appetizer with my gf and ordered extra noodles for the main but feel like the food, especially the pork and chicken could've been more.

I have probably had 500+ bowls of ramen, in Japan, Hong Kong, and across the globe while travelling. I would have to rate this a 5-star, probably one of the best ramen I have had in Europe, which is comparable to authentic ramen in Japan. The soup is quite rich and foamy. Chashu is well seasoned and has good flavour, especially the pork charshu. Noodles have a little bit of an alkaline taste to them, but it is acceptable, and could be an area of improvement. Eggs are well marinated, and for my personal preferences, I will want them to be slightly sweeter. Overall this will remain one of the best Tori paitan I have had in Europe so far. I don't know why there are not many customers when I visited but I hope this place can gain more traction in the future. Staff are amazing too! Energetic and helpful. Probably the most authentic Japanese ramen restaurant in Brussels

Very good ramen, but not excellent because of saltiness level and steep price. But still 5 stars. We ordered one shoyu and one paitan. Service was very friendly and professional. It looked like they cooked everything fresh so you have to wait a bit. Atmosphere was perfect. Clean and quiet. Other patrons were respectful and didn’t yell when talking. Some Japanese music in the background. Despite all that, I’m not sure if we’d come back. Mainly because there are so many ramen places to try.

Aki Ramen is a small ramen shop hidden in a quiet street in the center of Brussels. The restaurant is clean and simple, with Japanese music playing softly in the background and a minimalist Japanese-style atmosphere. They serve Sapporo-style ramen, which is quite different from the Fukuoka-style ramen I had before. The broth is made with both pork bones and chicken bones, giving it a rich and well-balanced flavor. I visited twice and tried the spicy miso ramen and the spicy tomato ramen. Both were delicious and very comforting. The chashu pork is sliced thin, which works nicely with the noodles. I also tried the grilled fish, which was fresh and tasty. For dessert, the chocolate fondant with Yuzu icecream is quite nice, both are very flavorable. I strongly recommend it. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience was very pleasant. A great place for a warm bowl of ramen in Brussels, especially in the evening.
