An exceptional dining experience in the heart of Brussels. The first thing that takes your breath away is the amazing setting. The grand pillars and the stunning, historic glass roof create an elegant atmosphere that is hard to match. The culinary journey was wonderful from start to finish. We enjoyed beautifully prepared starters, including a perfectly seared foie gras on brioche and a delicious preparation of snails with mushrooms. For the mains, the duck breast with its delicate crisp coating and rich reduction sauce was cooked to perfection, as was the tender, slow-cooked pork cheeks. Everything was paired beautifully with an excellent choice of wine, a smooth 2016 Château Lescalle Bordeaux Supérieur. We finished the lunch with a delicious, decadent dessert alongside a classic coffee. Beyond the spectacular food and visual grandeur, the service was absolutely flawless, attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout the night. Highly recommended for a memorable moment in Brussels.

We enjoyed an excellent business lunch. It’s not the cheapest option (€45 pp), but the food was outstanding. The flavours were refined, the presentation elegant. We started with pork belly and beetroot, followed by duck paired beautifully with salsify and Belgian endive, finished with a light and refreshing dessert. A well‑balanced meal from start to finish.

Great setting - a historic bank building with beautiful ceiling and decor. Close to the Grand Place yet feels private and special. We enjoyed a nice vegetarian meal and also fish. Dessert was elegant and such magical textures and flavor combinations.

We went to the Belga Queen on Sunday. It was quiet and very pleasant. The decorum is breathtaking and the service is really perfect. Everything is chic but also makes you fill at home. Also the acoustics is remarkable because even with more people the place staid quiet. We also had the privilege to visit the vault after our lunch! For the food, don’t let the simplicity of the name of the dishes fool you, it’s to another level. It’s classic Belgian cuisine but perfectly executed, with magnificent sauces, and several elements that elevate the dish. Like a puree, pickled elements, or a tuile. It’s showing mastery in the kitchen. I especially recommend the signature dessert, peer Belga Queen that is so much more than a poached pear. It’s a mousse cake covered with chocolate flocking, served with a light fresh cheese espuma and Porto pear sorbet on top of a pear brunoise. An unforgettable dessert !

We have visited Belga queen many times. It’s a beautiful location with a very nice atmosphere. The only downside is that there is no parking nearby, so I would recommend looking for an underground parking in advance. The service is generally good, but sometimes you may have to wait a while for a waiter, or occasionally something you ordered might be forgotten. There are many waiters, and most of them are very professional, but these situations do happen from time to time. The food has always been delicious, especially the steaks and oysters. However, one time we were unlucky — the steak had a lot of sinew. For that price, it was disappointing. I only managed to eat a quarter of it and couldn’t finish the rest. That said, all the other dishes have been excellent. Overall, everything is very presented — the interior, the white disposable hand towels in rolls, and even the restroom is quite unique. In general, it’s a great place and I would definitely recommend it.
