Antoine's house was founded in 1948 by Antoine Desmet and his wife.
The goods also move and chip shop soon became too small. A new hut is installed with two counters and professional deep fryers. This is not the whole Brussels but the whole of Belgium and neighboring countries attending the Maison Antoine.
His reputation exceeds even the borders and now the Americans landed with a famous newspaper article (New York Times): 'The best french fries in the world'.
