Had a ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well, but the quality of the meat was definitely not worth €42 a plate. I had a few bites that were so grisselly that I had to discreetly deposit them in my napkin. Such a shame.
Excellent dinner! Delicious starters and main course. Tasty smoked salmon and perfectly cooked scallops to start (both from the "Specials" menu). Excellent mushroom ravioli and maple burger as main courses. Very good service. It is a little bit expensive, especially if you have wine, but definitely good food! Recommend reserving a table as they can get busy.
At the Sheraton, which is ideally located within the Brussels airport (BRU), there’s just one restaurant: Gullivers. That may be why the service was much slower than I’m accustomed to for dinner (8 pm on a Sunday). It was also crowded, which is a good sign. The food itself was quite good, mostly hits and some small misses. For example, we had a hummus special which is meant for the table, but it was a little bit soupy and did not have enough bread for dipping, especially for the four of us. We did not have spoons and so it was impossible to pick up. Our salmon, on the other hand, was delicious. Piping hot served with a great mix of vegetables. Ihadd a delicious spaghetti, also nice and hot as well as spicy, as the dish was meant to be. We loved the fries and the burger. Delicious as well. The dessert, which was an apple crumb, had potential, but it lacked sugar, and it was served warm, but without any ice cream or whipped cream, which is a miss. All in all, even if it were not the only choice for a restaurant I would go again, that is if I had time to spare.
