This new restaurant in the centre of Brussels, just on the Grand’Place is a gem, Whilst the cuisine is typically Belgian it’s of a much higher quality than the standard touristy places. The croquettes, both the shrimp and the cheese are highly recommended as was the delicious sole. The mussels were the most delicious I have ever eaten in the city. The wine was excellent, too. Cannot praise the friendly, helpful waiters enough. There’s plenty of space in the light-filled dining room and bonus points for the restrooms being located on the main floor. The view of the Town Hall is beautiful.
It was such a pleasant visit. The food was delicious, recommendations were great. And the atmosphere with a view was just perfect.
The food was amazing! Easily one of the best pastas I’ve had in my life 🤭 my mother got the pork ribs and she loved them (she’s very picky about her pork ribs) and I also got the dessert and tea plate, waffle was soft and fluffy, chocolate mousse was delicious and nothing was too sweet! My father got the Crème Brûlée and really liked it ✨ The only downside is that our food took a bit to get served, we really thought the fresh pasta was being made on the spot. But I understand it’s a new place so there’s still some room to improve. And the food was really worth the wait 🤭 Oh and the grey shrimp croquettes, I’ve never had shrimp croquettes before so was unsure on what to expect. But they did not disappoint, the shrimp flavour was very soft and tasty! Would go back when I visit Brussels again ✅
We had an amazing meal at this new restaurant! They serve classic Belgian dishes prepared the way they should be. It’s great to finally have a place on the Grand Place that offers truly delicious food. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional, and the view was absolutely beautiful. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Best fresh mussels in Brussels. Eloquent dining atmosphere (indoors/outdoors). Served with in-house made frites, rich mayonnaise, and bread. Suggest pairing with Leffe Blonde. The service was excellent! This is a must dining experience near Grand Place.
