Brasserie Ommegang
Brussels

We randomly stumbeld on this place when walking and noticed trip advisor logo and decided to try it. Alot of local dishes and local own brewery beer. We had belgian stew and chicken which were both exellent. Really great and helpful service also ! And also crepes for dessert!
Right in the center of Brussels, and plenty of outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and efficient. I had the linguine with scampi and a large beer. My wife had the penne with chicken, a tea, and water. The bill was 83.10 euros. I would recommend this restaurant. Great drinks selection.
Visiting Brussels from Toronto, discovered this restaurant on the 5th day of our trip. We ordered their mussels and it was the best mussels I ever had. The broth was creamy, rich, and flavourful, served with Belgian fries and warm ciabatta. The carbonnade was also the best we had in Brussels. What impressed us most was the superb team, we watched them work together seamlessly like an F1 pit crew. Excellent food, exceptional service, and a restaurant we’ll definitely return to on our next visit to Belgium.
The staff did their best to make my experience great. I came back two times during my exhausting work week in Brussels. It might be more on the touristy side, but I absolutely enjoyed it.
Oh my goodness!! The staff, the decor, the vibe, the Belgian food-- it was all so great! I'm really glad we went here and were able to easily make reservations right on Google maps! And we were greated with the bear from the Golden Compass!! They had a 9-beer flight of Belgian beers (shaped in a NINE) and ended with their home brew! We had the chicken and mushrooms (vol-au-vent) and the beef stew (Carbonnade Flamande). Oh,! And the bathroom kinda looked like a (cool) dungeon!!
