The location is great, in an island in the middle of the parc. This restaurant is a must when people is visiting me in Brussels because everybody likes it, it's a very special place. The food is good, we ordered dishes to share, including mussels. The variety of food is enough. They are dog -friendly, which I appreciate a lot. I recommend without doubt.
We enjoy this place, coming here for the second time. The chalet sits in the middle of a beautiful park on a tiny island, you get there with a small boat. Very romantic, nice place, friendly staff, very tasty food both times. We will definitely come back again with family and friends.
A really lovely and relaxing place in the middle of nature. The atmosphere is very calm and perfect for families, with lots of people enjoying the surroundings and the lake. It has a very chill vibe that makes it great for spending a few hours away from the city noise. To get there, you take a small boat to the island, which costs only 1€ for the return trip, and it adds a fun and unique touch to the experience. The food was very nice, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Just a friendly note: it would be amazing if coffees with milk were available as well. Overall, a great spot to relax, enjoy good food, and spend time with friends or family. Definitely recommended!
Valentines Dinner here perhaps due to the occasion the service was not up to standard, seemed understaffed / staff were under pressure. For example dropping of drinks, not attending to the customers. Meals were delivered haphazardly only once was a meal (starter) / wine presented. I trust the place has better service and experiences on a less busy occasion.
