Excellent experience at Eliane. The dishes look very simple, almost understated, but the level of cooking is outstanding. Everything was executed with great precision. A highlight was the potato cooked in a shell of salt, which then turned into a refined “stoemp” with the sauce and herbs — incredibly soft, melting in the mouth, and full of flavour. The turbot was flawless, perfectly cooked and delicate, literally melting on the palate. Several dishes delivered real explosions of taste despite their minimal appearance. I also had lobster, lamb and pigeon, all prepared with the same level of accuracy and control. Textures are consistently excellent throughout: precise, and beautifully balanced, never heavy. The atmosphere is enhanced by a carefully curated music selection. Service is very friendly, with different staff members taking turns to serve and explain the dishes, creating a relaxed and engaging interaction. A place that doesn’t try to impress visually, but delivers where it matters most: taste, texture, and precision. Highly recommended.
All dishes were delicious and well balanced. Few dishes were very memorable: smoked sardines, pear sorbet, red mullet. Only the main course was quite salty (the only meat on the menu), neither of us could finish it. Service was excellent. Very good recommendation of the wine. Would be better the menu was given at the beginning not at last.
Even though I was traveling alone, this meal felt like I was with family from the moment I stepped inside. From the entire Eliane team to the other guests I was seated with, the experience was phenomenal, and I left with friends. And then there’s the food—purposefully executed and delicious. Bravo!
