Unique in it's kind, incredibly kind service and willing to be helpful. A lot is people kept coming due to nice weather, they kept adding tables without any fuss. Very honest and alternative menu with reasonable prices. I don't know how you do it, but you are a great! People of different ages, so no youngster club or only older people, everyone feels at ease.
A restaurant & cafe located in a small square & frequented by scores of students from the local university. It has a vibrant and energetic atmosphere which makes the place great for a quick bite or drink. The servers, who seem to be students as well, are friendly and helpful, and the food was good. There is some indoor seating, but all the action takes place in the large outdoor area that spills out toward the center of the square. If you're touring Leuven this is a great spot to soak up the local atmosphere, and if you want to sit outside when it's cold don't worry - they give you blankets!
The staff were incredibly kind and friendly. The young waitress who served us even asked where we were from, and we chatted for a bit. The portions are huge, and please don’t be put off by the presentation – my husband got his stuffed bread in a plastic container with a lid, we received our tortilla on a plastic tray, and the salad came in a plastic bowl. Despite that, the food was delicious and excellent. It feels like having lunch at your grandparents’ house.
