Really good pita spot, I’d definitely recommend it. The pita breads are freshly made every day in their workshop and are sourdough-based. I like that all the meat is halal, which makes the menu accessible for more people. I found it super tasty and really filling — one pita is honestly more than enough. It can be a little messy to eat at times because some things fall out, but it’s completely worth it considering how good everything tastes. Also definitely recommend trying the homemade iced tea and lemonade, both were really good. And their signature sauce is amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

Unbelievable… a single bowl costs €15, and on top of that, every ingredient is extra. Meat €1, corn €1, tomatoes, etc. – basically, you end up paying much more than the base price. The sweet potato fries – a tiny portion – were completely undercooked and soggy, and still cost €5! The dipping sauce portion was a joke as well. The staff inside were busy with each other and didn’t pay any attention to us at all.

I used to love Barouche - when they first opened on place St Catherine in Brussels the food was excellent 👌 you could get a chicken plate, curry mango sauce, pitta bread and sweet potato wedges for 11 euro, now, I do know inflation is a thing but two mini pitta, sweet potato fries and two drinks for €33.75 is not where is at! We served ourselves at the kiosk, collected it ourselves, cleaned up ourselves, I'm actually surprised I didn't have to cook it myself! And the sweet potato fries are so small, tiny box half filled. So disappointed. What happened to the home cooked sweet potato wedges! Garbage frozen fries instead.... That and the two staff were just stood around looking miserable, beneath a vulgar sign that read "if you can lean you can clean" - Belgium isn't America, stop this rubbish. Do better or I won't be back, because for 34 euro, there are better options out there. My Tannour at the Wolf with an overflowing plate for €14 as an example... Such a disappointment, yet another great eaterie ruined by order kiosks and profit grabbing

Took the pre assembled menu with chicken. Although tasty, my tastebuds were over flooded by the salty flavour. Everything was spiced up, but it was quite salty and I could not taste the other flavours as good as usually. Should also be sweet and spicy but salty took everything over. The sweet potato fries, all I can say is have a look at others places, I've had better in the past. The sauce was good. Accompanied by a lot of raw parsley. Service provided by students (I think), nothing wrong with it, but overall level drops a bit, making it very comfortable for most people. It's also an order and eat place, rather than a have a seat and can I bring you some drinks place.
