A nice fish restaurant in the city center and one of the few places available on a Saturday evening without a reservation. We enjoyed the menu selection with appetizers, starters, mains, and dessert — reasonably priced and generous in portion size. I ordered fish soup, oysters, salmon filet and iced nougat’s. The food was good and of solid quality, though nothing particularly outstanding or exclusive. I especially enjoyed the dessert though — the iced nougat was fantastic!
We had a wonderful return to Bij den Boer - can't recommend it highly enough if you're looking for high quality seafood in a really traditional setting, offering outstanding value. The menus are excellent, the produce super-fresh and a friendly welcome.
