Food was really good. It's nice to have a quinoa salad with warm quinoa. The chicken tandoori and the chicken avocado were good. Salmon gravlax is a classic choice.
We visited the place without a reservation, even though we had read that it would be better to make one before going. However, due to the early time we went, we had to wait only for a few minutes until we got in. We had some brunch which was really tasty and the portion quite big. The place is also really nice and atmospheric!
This is a very good place for brunch. Their proportions are very generous! You stand in line, order, pay, and your food will be served at your table. The drinks only are taken on the spot. Very simple and efficient! I had my usual Salmon Egg Benedict. It was very good and enjoyable. However, the sourdough toast was very hard. It would’ve been much better if it was just slightly softer! The eggs were cooked properly, with cream cheese (Usually in general it’s not included, but this was a nice touch!). Also there was the standard Hollandaise sauce. It comes with a side of Green Salad. The sauce was mustard-based which I like. I honestly didn’t like the addition of Pomegranate in the salad. My Americano was very average. It wasn’t anything special, yet it was good. It was served American style in a big mug. The restaurant is located in a very high upscale area, farther from Grand Place. It’s much quieter in here. The outside and inside seating areas are both very nice. Just note that the restaurant is located on a slight slope. Some tables and chairs may feel slightly inclined. This is really is not a big deal! Although the food was not excellent to my standards, yet I would highly recommend Leopold for Brunch!
I really enjoyed my visit here. The salmon eggs benedict was delicious and well prepared — definitely one of the highlights for me. The place has a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a slow breakfast or brunch. Sitting outside was especially nice; you truly feel the life of the city around you, which adds a lot to the experience. It’s a comfortable, enjoyable spot where you can unwind and enjoy good food. Overall, a great café in Brussels — I’d happily come back.
My must to go place. Yes, it is a bit expensive but I feel it’s worth the place as the portions are large, very delicious. The pancakes are not too sweet, just how I love them with fresh fruits. I also love the atmosphere of the cafe, even though the queue is sometimes very long and hard to find a place to sit down. Still, Can’t wait to return.
