Wonderful Spanish restaurant in the heart of Brussels. The place was cosy and welcoming. Service was excellent and the food was good. The main dishes were excellent. We had the arroz negro, carabinero al ajilllo, and the fabada asturiana. The dessert was also delicious. We had the tartaleta de manzana and the torrija caramelizada.
Our favorite restaurant in Brussels. Amazing food and even better service, everyone is super friendly and the ingredients are of the highest quality (the olives and tomato-strawberry gazpacho definitely need to become a staple on the menu so that we can order some more). Always a great experience and looking forward to the next time!
I had an excellent solo dinner here during the week. The squid ink and octopus risotto was excellent, as was the apple tartine. And I was given an exceptional croquette with the amuse bouche, light with a creamy filling. The service was also excellent. Comfortable atmosphere also if you dine alone, and it is quiet enough to talk easily if you have company.
Excellent dinner at the Hispania restaurant. The ambient is cozy, the place is nice and the food is excellent. We ate some starters and they were delicious: the croquetas de jamón, ensaladilla or the jamón iberico were excellent. Then I ate the rice cooked with the ink of a calamar and it was excellent too. Special attention to the waitress who served us, she was very attentive to our needs and she explained everything very well. I don't remember her name but I remember that she is from Argentina (Rosario).
I had a fantastic experience, a great introduction into Spanish cuisine. The food was very delicious, gorgeous presentation. But I had the impression the portion seemed small for what the price indicated. I was surprised by the lack of other items to complement the dish. The menu was nice, but it seemed limited. Given the nature of the restaurant, being in the centre of the city, they didn't have mocktails without the sparkling. The bread was good, but the butter was very firm. The service was friendly and engaging. The ambience was very nice, i really like the pictures on the walls, the choice of carpet on the floor, and the chairs. It felt very warm and a nice place for a date, friendly hangout, colleagues meeting.
