10/10 Dinner experience! Beautiful location inside the Marriott Hotel in the city-centre next to the Brussel Bourse stylish-cozy atmosphere. Great food and drink selection and very friendly, professional staff! We had Oysters and Garlic Bread as Starter and Chicken and Carbonada as Main Course - everything was delicious, fresh and with great aromatic taste! Also the Mocktails were amazing with high—quality ingredients! Place-to-be!
Friendly, very attentive staff, not pushy or rude. - Accommodated us last minute to fit us in on a Saturday evening. - Seafood very fresh tasting and not one bit of grit in my entire moules dish. - The pricing is very fair especially considering the qualities Was expecting a pleasant meal out but was turned into a special occasion by the staff, cannot recommend enough. I have eaten at Michelin guide restaurants which do not stand up to my experience at Le Marmiton, visit if you can.
Rotisse is the main restaurant serving the Brussels Marriott Hotel. Sadly, my experience here wasn’t a good one, especially in terms of food and drink quality and communication from the staff. They have tried to create a premium atmosphere inside the restaurant, but I felt really uncomfortable due to noise coming from outside the restaurant, which seemed beyond what you would expect in a busy city centre, with a nearby area regularly being used for protests, I do feel they could do better to keep this noise and disruption away from diners. While being seated at my table and seeing reports online, I was made aware of a dedicated frier for the french fries, although my server later told me this was not the case, and the fries would not be gluten-free due to a shared frier, so I had to opt for some vegetables instead. I do appreciate the honesty and allergy training from my server but I feel this needs to be standardised across their staff to avoid miscommunication which could make someone sick, confused or both. I had a really long wait for my food, which lasted to the point that I had to chase this up with my server, taking over 40 minutes. My steak was really tough and rubbery and was almost inedible, the side of vegetables was hard and bland and I didn’t enjoy my meal. For my drink, I went for the iced green tea, again this was so watery, it just felt like discoloured water. My guest ordered the garlic bread and mentioned this was unpleasant and greasy. After making the staff members aware of this, they removed the food from our bill and we had to go elsewhere. A lot of potential here sure, but based on my experience it just wasn’t met and I wouldn’t return.
LOCATION. The restaurant is located right in the city center, on the beautiful Place de la Bourse. It's located inside the Marriot Hotel and has an elegant and smart room. The dining room is large, with nice tables. The atmosphere is pleasant. SERVICE. Excellent: kindness, professionalism. FOOD. I wanted to try the "vol au vent de la grand mère" (grandmother's vol-au-vent): delicious. It's a version of the special vol au vent that combines meat and fish (including shrimp) and is served pan-fried. AWESOME!! PRICE. Adequate.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Rotisse restaurant inside the Mariott Hotel. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and well looked after, a beautiful setting, a relaxed atmosphere, and a team that clearly cares about the guest experience. The food was excellent: perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and presented with real attention to detail. Champagne is not good :( but other drinks are ok. It’s the kind of place where you genuinely enjoy every course and don’t feel rushed at any point. A special thank you to Aileen, our server, who made the evening even better. She was warm, professional, and attentive without ever being intrusive — always at the right moment with a smile, helpful guidance, and great service throughout. That level of care really stands out and turned a great dinner into a memorable one. Highly recommend if you’re staying at the Mariott Hotel or even just nearby and looking for a high-quality meal with top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back.
