We actually ended up here by accident, we were originally looking for Léon, but it turned out to be a great find. Not too crowded when we visited, staff were friendly, and the toilets were clean, small details, but they add up to a good overall impression. The interior itself is pretty, with comfortable seating that made the meal even more enjoyable. We ordered tomatoes mozzarella, oysters, mussels with fries, and a Fuze tea. Overall it was really good. The mussels were nice, though not as creamy as I personally prefer, still enjoyable, just not exactly my style. The oysters were good. The tomatoes mozzarella was fine, the tomato itself was good quality, but the mozzarella was just so-so, nothing special. On price, the tomatoes mozzarella was 13,50€, oysters were 21€, and the mussels with fries (1kg) were 25€, in line with what you'd expect for the quality and setting. Best for a solid seafood-and-classics meal in Brussels if you stumble upon it or are looking for a reliable, friendly spot with a pretty, comfortable interior.
The food was average, but given the restaurant’s location in the most touristy part of Brussels city centre, we weren't expecting much more. My mussels were decent, and the rest of our table had salads, croquettes and salmon. The menu is fairly basic with simple fish dishes, and the desserts (mostly ice cream and tiramisu). While the staff was friendly, they forgot part of our order, leaving one person waiting quite a while for their meal. Overall, I wouldn't return because I didn't find anything special about this place. If you decide to visit, the open terrace is nice - just keep in mind it gets pretty noisy due to the surrounding bars and music.
I was here on Sun 3rd May 2026 at lunch. I booked by The Fork and I celebrated a special occasion with my family. We made an excellent choice with a carbonade dish and delicious desserts. It was all washed down with a glass of red wine. Excellent value. I highly recommend it.
