Stirwen is perhaps the best restaurant in Brussels - amid fierce competition. The total attention to detail is what sets the restaurant apart, and the thought and care that goes into every element of the meal is phenomenal. The food is sublime, classic French cooking but with some experimental flair. Each dish is perfectly conducted and structured. The service is exceptionally good, managing to be both friendly and professional. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and can recommend exceptional wines - Stirwen has an incredible wine list and the maitre’d’s love of Burgundy is obvious. Each time I have returned I have been surprised and delighted with some element of the food or wine. Whether for a large group or intimate meal this is a special restaurant indeed.
reserved a special dinner here for our 30th wedding anniversary and it surely didn't disappoint. It's our first try of a Michelin starred restaurant and we were amazed with the entree's. In addition, we were greeted with complimentary champagne after meeting the Chef and letting him know of our anniversary. We definitely splurged and loved every min of our experience. Cheers to Stirwen and will definitely visit again when given a chance.
