After 4 days of eating our way through Brussels (Bruxelles). I can say this will be the best meal you will have. Make a reservation. It appears the menu changes often but for a feel here is how ours went. I had the Pisco Sour (delicious). Then the meal was served with a fresh baked bread I believe was pistolets de campagne. 🤷 We started with the sharing the Aubergine Grille, then had the Entrecote de Boeuf and Poulet Tikka Masala, and finished with the Tart Tatin Peche. I ate a bit of it all (split with my spouse) all was rememberable and delicious.
Beautiful restaurant with a cosy atmosphere and the kindest personnel! The menu is unusual and creative, with nice variation of meat and vegetarian options but also carefully picked desserts. The dinner was very tasty and beautifully served. And for dessert, the chocolate mousse was THE BEST ONE I EVER HAD. In total, I recommend with all my heart! 🙂
A very charming restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I had a delightful dinner: the smoked salmon was beautifully marinated in a light ponzu dressing, and the octopus with mashed potatoes and chorizo was rich, well-balanced, and full of flavour. I would happily return to try more dishes.
Cozy place, friendly staff, prices were slightly higher than usual but the food was very good, both the duck magret and the octopus, traditional with a twist, very good wine from Douro, Portugal. We also tried the shrimp noodles, paella and salmon tartare, all we're good but the salmon was a small portion.
Absolutely beautiful little bistro in the heart of Ixelles. Was served by the charming Rania who told me the restaurant was an old grocery store from the 19th century which retains much of its old world elegance and charm. Very hearty French meals and the homemade bread was superb! Really loved the service, warmth and atmosphere and the food was delicious. 😋 I will be back- it’s gets busy so suggest you go early and book ahead.
