Brussels has a variety of daily and seasonal markets and each neighbourhood has its own market day. Here is a selection of the main or more typical markets in the city.

  • Gare du Midi, St-Gilles: Exotic products market, 6am-1pm
  • Rond Point Agora, rue du Marché aux Herbes: Art and craft market, 10am-6pm
  • Place du Grand Sablon: Sablon antiques market, 9am-2pm
  • Grand'Place: Flower and plant market, 8am-2pm
  • Place Ste-Catherine: Flower and food market, 7am-5pm

Specials markets

 

  • Beguine Convent, Place du Beguinage: in June, crafts and musical instrument market as part of a folklore celebration 
  • Various locations in Brussels: in June, organic week, celebration of organic farming in Wallonia and Brussels 
  • Place du Jeu de Balle: in July, flea market with a Tintin theme, following his visit there in the Secret of the Unicorn book, 4pm-8.30pm 
  • Place du Grand Sablon: in September, Gascon market with local produce and music, 10am-8pm
  • Grand'Place: Christmas markets from early December to early January, noon-9pm from Monday to Thursday and 11am-10pm Friday to Sunday
