The airport was okay, nothing very great. Things I liked: Connectivity to city. Small kid friendly games on pillar. Things i didn't like: Dirty washrooms (You really need to work on cleanliness of those) Stood in immigration for 2 hours. (But one thing i would like to appreciate, there was a group of volunteers who were distributing water, that was very much needed) There were families and old people who probably needed a shorter line were also there.
Brussels Airport pleasantly surprised me. It offers an excellent network of shops and services, making the time spent there comfortable and enjoyable. The airport has a wide variety of stores – from luxury brands and fashion (like Hugo Boss, Lacoste or Swarovski) to Belgian specialties (chocolate shops such as Neuhaus, Leonidas or Godiva), electronics, cosmetics, and travel essentials. Whether you want to grab last-minute gifts, enjoy Belgian beer, or buy high-quality chocolate, you’ll find everything here. The services are also very well organized: Plenty of clean and modern restrooms Good selection of restaurants and cafés (quick bites as well as sit-down options) Efficient security and passport control Helpful staff and clear signage Comfortable waiting areas with charging stations I especially appreciated the accessibility and variety – everything is within easy walking distance and well signposted. Even during longer layovers, you won’t get bored or feel stressed. Brussels Airport provides a solid and satisfying passenger experience with its well-developed network of shops and services. I’m very pleased with the overall level of comfort and convenience.
I landed Brussels Airport after my flight from Dublin, returning from an amazing international summit for Google Maps contributors, and I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth everything went. While busy airports can often feel overwhelming, Brussels Zaventem made me feel comfortable right from the start with highly efficient security checks and fast-moving lines. What truly impressed me is how exceptionally well-equipped the airport is for ♿ accessibility. There are multiple elevators, escalators, and moving walkways throughout all corridors. Along the first long corridor, there is even a dedicated lane reserved exclusively for wheelchair users, making navigation much safer. Passengers with reduced mobility can borrow a wheelchair directly at the terminal, and tactile paving is available to assist visually impaired travelers. This excellent ♿ accessibility extends to the 🅿️parking facilities as well. All main car parks (P1, P2, and P3) feature clearly marked, designated spaces for wheelchair users close to the entrances. There is also a special PRM assistance help point in the P2 garage (Level 2). Plus, you can pre-book parking online in advance for a completely guaranteed, stress-free arrival. Additionally, well-equipped ♿accessible restrooms for both wheelchair users and parents with children are conveniently located across the airport. To top it all off, the airport offers free, unlimited Wi-Fi to stay connected. For entertainment and dining, there are numerous fantastic cafés, restaurants, and Duty-Free shops offering everything from luxury cosmetics to world-famous Belgian chocolates. The entire airport felt incredibly well-organized, clean, and welcoming. It was a genuinely positive and seamless return home! Brussels Airport, Belgium 🇧🇪 One of my favourite airports for sure. Security checks were quick and efficient, and even though it’s a large airport, everything felt spotless, organised, and easy to navigate. Loved that there were water refill stations everywhere, such a nice touch when airport water is ridiculously expensive 😅 Plenty of food options and shopping too. Very impressive overall!
Very beautiful airport with free drinking waters, interesting stores and professional staff that always kindly ask you which language you prefer from French or English. Terminal A for European flights and terminal B for non-European ones. Way better than Brussels South Charleroi airport! P.S. The internet connection and speed is working very well here. Not clean toilets!! Unfortunately, it took a long time to board the EasyJet plane (A31 line), and we had to wait outside in the cold and wind for about 10 minutes.
